The Secret Salon
The Secret Salon is based in the heart of Carlow Town run by Orlane Powell, specialising in Barbering, Beauty and all methods of Hair Extensions for volume , length or to add colours to your existing hair, also offering hair replacement systems to clients with thinning hair. Orlane originally qualified as a Beauty Specialist through ITEC and then started her Hairdressing journey on her first hairdressing course at The Shades and Shapes Academy in 2008.
Qualifications
She then went from Hairdressing to Hair Extensions and then to Hair Replacement Systems and Wigs with Hair Contrast Ireland and on to complete her VTCT level 2 and 3 in Barbering through Joe Kelly’s Barber School Newbridge to Grafton Barbers Academy in Dublin and then on to Chopshop Master Barber Academy in Ardee.
Cancer Hair Care
She also volunteers with lookgoodfeelbetter running workshops around Leinster giving free makeovers and goodie bags to Ladies on their cancer journey. She sell a variety of semi synthetic clip in hair extensions from ponytails, half head extensions, full head extensions, half wigs and 3/4 wigs all in curly or straight styles.
She offers her services on an appointment only basis using the book now button on her website or via the salon’s social media pages. Orlane is AIT insured and barbicide and children first certified. She also volunteers as a First Responder for Carlow town and is an experienced carer for clients with dementia, autism and mobility issues.
Location
Orlane’s salon is based in a private location in the centre of Carlow town, which is ideal for clients that want to get discreet hair systems in a convenient private location. She offers a mobile service to clients that would prefer to have their hair extensions or hair systems applied in the convienence of their own home. She also offer a mobile barbering service to clients that may not have the time or feasibility to visit a barbershop.
